"本研究では，特別支援学校小学部に在籍する知的障害のある児童を対象に，そのキャリア発達を促進することを目的とした支援を実践した。特に，「キャリアプランニング能力」の要素のひとつである「役割の理解と実行」能力に着目し，係活動を軸にその能力の育成を目指した。実践にあたっては，①：対象児の「役割の理解と実行」能力に関する「実態把握シート」の作成，②：育てたい力の具体化と設定した達成基準に基づく，実践中・後の対象児の行動評価，③：「役割の理解と実行」に関する対象児の意識，価値観などの変容に関する聞き取り評価，④：評価に基づく支援方法の改善と再実践の，4ステップからなるPDCAサイクルを実行した。実践の結果，対象児にねらいとした「役割の理解と実行」能力の獲得が確認された。実践から，知的障害児の「役割の理解と実行」能力を育てるための有効な支援方法を明らかにするとともに，行動の客観的な評価と，内的動機付けや意欲，自己意識などの主観的評価の仕組みを組み込んだcompetency-basedのキャリア発達支援の在り方を考察した。",
