1963)の戯曲をもとにプーランク(Poulenc,F1899～1963)が作曲したモノオペラ『人間の声』(1958年作曲、1959年初演。戯曲としての初演は1930年)に私が初めて巡り会ったのは、もう25年も前のことである。\nフランス語は全くわからないにもかかわらず、後々まで印象に残ったことを覚えている。2002年に同作品を原語で演奏する機会を得た(2002年6月、愛知県名古屋市守山文化小劇場、演出:伊藤明子)。\nオペラの台本はコクトーが書いた戯曲全てではなく、作曲家のプーランクと初演時に唯一人の登場人物を演じたソプラノ歌手、ドウエーズ・デュヴアル(Duval,D1921～)が検討を重ねてカットを施したものである。その台本によるオペラの初演の時、コクトーは演出と舞台装置を担当し、「親愛なるフランシス、君は僕のテキストを『朗誦』する方法を見つけてくれた」という讃辞をプーランクに書き送ったという事を知り、カットされた部分は気にせず、台本テキストを読み込み、人物像を描き、自分なりの舞台を作り上げることができたと思っていた。2004年、ジェシー・ノーマン(Norman,」1945～ )が来日し、この作品を演じた。残念ながら生の舞台を観ることはできなかったが、後日、NHKの教育テレビでライブ映像が放送された(2004年8月、芸術劇場)のを観て、役作りと表現の差を痛烈に感じたのである。演出そのものの違いなのか、アメリカ人と日本人の持うている性格の差なのか、他に何か理由があるのか…。もちろん、それらの全てに原因があるのであろう。そこで、役創りの差がどこから発生するのか理由を探し出そうと戯曲そのものの翻訳を試みることにした。『人間の声』の翻訳はコクトー全集② に収められている。そこで私は、声楽家が役作りの追求のため、プーランクのオペラの原作を研究するという立場で翻訳を試みることにした。恋人に捨てられた女は前夜睡眠薬自殺をしようとし、一命を取り留めて苦悩の1日を終えた。死体のようにうずくまる女の部屋に電話のベル。5年間の愛の生活を捨てて3日前に去って行うた男からの最後の電話。男は明日、別の女と結婚するらしい。男とかわす最後の会話。それがオペラの全てである。電話の相手は姿を見せることはなく、声さえも観客に聞かせることはない。\nプーランクとデュヴアルがカットした部分にはどのような人物像が描かれているのかを探りつつ、楽譜に込められたプァランクのメッセージと対比しながら翻訳すことによって、オペラ作品としての『人間の声』の新しい魅力を発見したいと思う。","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_3_description_40":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ(DSpace)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"Article","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_3_description_6":{"attribute_name":"引用","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"富山大学人間発達科学部紀要,
