Another way of recycling is possible for aluminum. It decomposes water at room temperature to produce hydrogen and aluminum hydroxide under certain conditions. The present paper described preliminary results of a study on factors affecting the rate of hydrogen production using pure aluminum and Al-Mg alloy.
