The experiments were performed for the closed vessels with seven different aspect ratios (A=1, 2/3, 1/2, 2/5, 1/3, 2/7, 1/4). Details of Benard convection phenomena with density inversion were investigated by visualization of temperature and flow fields. Attention was focused on changes in the number of cells and in the cell aspect ratio with the increase of temperature difference between the top and bottom walls. The Nusselt nummber for the case with density inversion exhibits lower values than that for the case with no density inversion, which is caused by the existence of the stable reagion., 0℃の水を底面より加熱した時に生ずるベナール対流の実験的研究を行った。矩形容器のアスペクト比は,7種類(A = 1, 2/3, 1/2, 2/5, 1/3, 2/7, 1/4)変化させ実験を行った。温度場と流れ場の可視化を行うことにより,密度反転領域を伴うベナール対流現象を詳細に観察し,上下壁温度差の増加により形成されたセルの個数,セルのアスペクト比等について検討した。密度反転領域における停滞層の存在により,密度反転領域を伴わない場合に比べ,Nu数の値が低くなることが判明した。, Article, 富山大学工学部紀要 47, 107-114.(1996)}, pages = {107--114}, title = {水の密度反転領域におけるベナール対流}, volume = {47}, year = {1996} }
