The molybdenum content increased with increasing molybdate ion concentration in the bath, and the increasing tendency of molybdenum varied with a peak current density. The molybdenum content was not dependent on a pulse frequency, therefore the strain in deposits was not affect by pulse frequency. Comparing with the cracks in deposits obtained from D.C.-plating, the cracks were reduced by the applying pulse-plating conditions such as the pulse frequencies of 10 and 20Hz.
