The response time from anti-ferroelectric to ferroelectric phase, i.e. τ_1, at 87℃ 5V/μm is about 200,us and decreases with increasing applied voltage. Response time from ferro-electric phase in high electric field to anti-ferroelectric phase around the zero electric field, i.e. τ_2, is about 0.6ms at 87℃ and does not change with the strength of applied electric field. τ_1 decreases as the temperature rises from 72°C to 82°C, and increases as the temperature rises from 82℃ to 92℃. τ_2 decreases monotonously as temperature rises from 72℃ to 92℃. Reduction of τ_2 about one order of magnitude into the range of 100μs was succeeded by applying a weak electric field of reverse polarity., 反強誘電性を示す液晶材料の光学応答特性が調べられた。87℃において5V/μm の電界強度では,反強誘電相から強誘電相への相変化に伴う光学応答時間τ_1は約200μsであり,印加電圧の上昇につれて短くなる。高電界における強誘電相からゼロ電界付近の反強誘電相への変化に伴う光学応答時間τ_2は87℃で約0.6msであり,印加時の電界強度によって変化しない。72℃から82℃までは温度の上昇につれてτ_1は短くなり,82℃から92℃までは長くなる。τ_2は72℃から92℃まで単調に減少する。反強誘電相に戻す際に逆極性の弱い電界を印加することによってτ_2を約1桁下げることができた。, Article, 富山大学工学部紀要,43, Page 37-43}, pages = {37--43}, title = {反強誘電性液晶セルの光学応答特性}, volume = {43}, year = {1992} }
