It was shown that the HgI_2 detector operated at room temperature and that the initial detection characteristics were maintained for a long period. The authors applied the detector to the measurements of fission products in JRR-3 cover-gas of JAERI and demonstrated that quantitative determination of 80keV γ-ray released from ^<133>Xe could be performed by the detector in spite of the extremely small size of its element (1.95mm^2 x 0.7mmt)., Article, 富山大学工学部紀要,41}, pages = {1--10}, title = {Fabrication of Mercuric Iodide Nuclear Radiation Detector and Its Application}, volume = {41}, year = {1990} }
