Now the similar studies are carried out using various aromatic carboxylic esters, aromatic carboxylates and their salts which may ionize in the organic solvent, and the relation between the promoting action and the solubility in boiling carbon tetrachloride is checked. The outline of results may be summarized in the following: (1) The influence of water of crystalization on the induction period mainly depends upon the dehydration temperature. (2) For Series I the induction period is prolonged with the carbon number of alkyl group contained, and the order of the prolonged effect is shown as follows: aliphatic-
