Benzophenone has been used at first. The mixture of CaC_2 powder, Kaustic kali benzophenone and organic solvent boing at 70--140℃ has been heated in an oil bath, with stirring, for 5--20 hours. The reaction mass has been hydrolysed, filtered, distilled and finally the residual product has been recrystallised from ethylether. The white crystal Substance has been melted at 189.5--91℃.
