This needs the direct current: a quite large error occurs in this method due to the change of surrounding conditions. The author deviced a new method which does note need the direct current, and the permeability change (dμ/dt) pf the specimen is measured. Rectifying the induction current which is induced in the search coil around the specimen, it is measured by the galvanometer. The search coil is placed in the cylindrical furnace, put in the magnetizing solenoid.
