The stress function concerned is constructed by three parts, which are a basic function and two auxiliary ones. And they satisfy the boundary conditions along the rim of circular hole. The parametric coefficients involved in the solution are determined from the given conditions along the notch with the aid of Fourier's transforms. Three fundamental stress systems are discussed.
