Stress amplitude decreases of about 25~50% were observed during the corrosion fatigue process performed at low stress amplitude. This stress relaxation behavior is well evaluated by calculating the compliance increase of the specimen. Computer simulations of the corrosion fatigue process of the unnotched specimens were conducted. The results showed good agreement with the experimental results.
