In December 2012, we distributed a self-administered questionnaire to 30 nurses who cared for cancer patients discharged from a hospital. The questionnaire included subject attributes and 30 items related to nurses' understanding of home-based palliative care. Responses were recorded using a 5-point Likert scale. The questionnaire was processed by simple tabulation. Furthermore, all the questionnaire items were compared against subject attributes using the Mann? Whitney U-test. Analyses were performed using the statistical software SPSS statistics 19, and a pvalue of less than 5% was considered significant. Valid responses were obtained from 27 nurses (90%). In palliative care team activities, we found a significant difference between subject attributes and the following 4 items: "awareness about the role of a primary care physician when conducting home-based care," "concern about supporting patient lifestyle in discharge planning," "conducting discussions with various medical professionals including home-based palliative care professionals in one's own workplace when selecting a place of care," and "having human resources or a division available at the work place that can be consulted when there are concerns about discharge planning for patients who have selected home-based palliative care" (p<0.05) .With regard to experience involving discharge planning for patients requiring intensive care, a significant difference was found with the following: "knowing the type of services provided by pharmacies for home-based palliative care" and "knowing which professions to coordinate with while providing home-based palliative care" (p<0.05). Our results suggest that ward nurses may increase their understanding by acquiring experience related to home-based palliative care., 病棟看護師の在宅緩和ケアに関する認識の現状を明らかにすることを目的とした.2011年11月にがん患者の退院支援に関わった経験のある看護師30名を対象に自記式質問調査を行った.調査内容は,対象者の属性,在宅緩和ケアに関する看護師の認識30項目について調査した.回答様式には5段階のリッカート尺度を用いた.質問項目すべてについて単純集計を行った.また,質問項目すべてと対象者の属性との比較をMann-WhitneyのU検定を用いて行った.分析はSPSSStatistics19を使用し,有意水準を5%とした.有効回答数は27名(90%)であった.対象者属性の緩和ケアチーム活動において有意差がみられた項目は,<在宅緩和ケアを行う上でかかりつけ医の果たす役割を知っている>,<退院調整に関わった患者の生活支援状況について知りたいと思う> <自分の働く職場において,療養場所の選択を行う時,在宅緩和ケアを含めて多職種間で話し合いが行われている>,<自分の働く職場は,在宅緩和ケアを選択した患者の退院調整について悩んだ時,相談できる部門や人材が整っている>の4項目であった(p<0.05).医療依存度の高い患者の退院調整に関わった経験において有意差がみられた項目は,<在宅緩和ケアにおいて調剤薬局がどのような業務を行っているか知っている>,<在宅緩和ケアを行うにあたってどのような職種と連携をとればよいか知っている>の2項目であった(p<0.05).病棟看護師が在宅緩和ケアに関わる何らかの経験をすることにより,在宅緩和ケアに対する認識が高まることが示唆された., Article, 富山大学看護学会誌, 第13巻1号, 2013.06., page 15-24}, pages = {15--24}, title = {がん患者の在宅緩和ケアに関する病棟看護師の認識の現状}, volume = {13}, year = {2013} }
