It is currently recommended that hand care preparations are provided to medical practitioners, but the effect or influence when such preparations are used together with antiseptics has not been investigated. In this study, we investigated how drying hand care preparations affect the sterilizing effect of antiseptics. Staphylococcus epidermidis (S. epidermidis) and Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) were used as the test strains. The trial medications used were a skin protective agent. As a result, the sterilizing effect after the hand care preparation had dried for 30 minutes was better against S. aureus than S. epidermidis. The present results showed that hand care preparations do not affect bacterial proliferation, that when using hand care preparation and antiseptics together. Moreover, the hand care preparation needs to be dried sufficiently. In the future, comparisons with the present results and further research conducted with consideration of the conditions of the hand care preparation will be needed., 手荒れ予防・改善のためにハンドケア製剤を使用している医療現場が増加している.ハンドケア製剤の一つである皮膚保護剤は,擦り込み後の乾燥が必要であるが,実際には十分な乾燥が行われていないことも多い.そこで,今回,皮膚保護剤塗布後の乾燥が消毒薬の消毒効果に及ぼす影響について検討した. 被験菌としてS. epidermidisおよびS. aureusを用い,皮膚保護剤塗布面を基準に,①上層②上下層③下層に細菌を塗布した後,皮膚保護剤塗布直後および30分間乾燥後に消毒薬を散布した際の消毒効果を確認した. その結果,S.aureusにおいては乾燥による消毒効果が認められたが,S. epidermidisでは乾燥により生菌数が増加する傾向にあった. 以上の結果より,皮膚保護剤は皮膚常在菌層に対する影響は無く,皮膚保護剤塗布後の乾燥の有無が,皮膚保護剤上層に存在する一過性細菌に対する消毒効果に影響を与えるということが明らかとなった., Article, 富山大学看護学会誌, 第12巻1号, 2012.6., page 37-45}, pages = {37--45}, title = {皮膚保護剤が消毒効果に与える影響}, volume = {12}, year = {2012} }
