It is important to examine the meaning of witnessing cesarean birth when the student nurse does her maternity nursing practice. This research is to clarify an effective method regarding experiencing cesarean birth when the student nurse practices the maternity nursing. It also aimed to clarify the educational effect. The foregoing research did not indicate apparent changes in students' motherhood consideration after the training. This research, as a new trial, aimed to prove educational efficacy by selecting students to observe cesarean births: from all students who wished to participate to the students who are in charge of the delivering mothers. The study's subjects included were 167 of 222 student nurses who participated in maternity nursing practice from 2001 to 2004 at the school of nursing at Toyama University. The motherhood consideration was measured by using the motherhood idea questionnaire before and after the maternity nursing practice. The significance level was assumed to be 5% by using a multiple, logistic analysis as a statistical analysis. Cooperation in the research was voluntary, and the students were told that their participation will not affect their academic performance. The results showed a considerable increase of motherhood consideration among the participants, particularly in the low score group of a negative item (the group which does not controvert motherhood consideration) in the maternal idea questionnaire. In other crowds groups, a significant change was not admitted. For this reason, this study suggests that observationt raining is more effective when restricted to the student nurses who take care of delivering mothers to promote their motherhood consideration.(264 words), 帝王切開分娩が増加傾向にある現在,母性看護実習においても帝王切開分娩見学の意義を検討することは重要である.前回の報告では,帝王切開分娩を見学した学生の実習後の母性意識に変化はみられなかったが,本研究では,新たな試みとして,見学希望者全員が見学する方法から受持ち学生が見学をすることとし,その教育効果を明らかにすることを目的とした. 研究対象は,本学において2001年から2004年まで母性看護実習を受けた222名中調査協力が得られた167名の看護学生であった.母性意識を測定する尺度として母性理念質問紙を用い,母性看護実習前後に質問紙調査を行った.統計解析として,体験項目による母性意識の変化について,多重ロジスティック回帰分析を行った.有意水準は5%とした.倫理的な配慮として,研究への協力は自由であり,成績には影響しないことを対象者に伝えた. その結果,母性看護実習前後で母性意識は有意に上昇した.帝王切開分娩について見学希望者全員が見学する方法から受持ち学生のみの見学にしたところ,母性理念質問紙において否定項目の低得点群(母性意識を否定しない群)においては,母性意識が維持・上昇した. 以上より,帝王切開分娩の見学実習においては,産婦受持ち学生のみの見学とすることが母性意識の維持・高揚の点では効果があると示唆された., Article, 富山大学看護学会誌, 第7巻2号, 2008.3., page 29-37}, pages = {29--37}, title = {母性看護実習における教育効果 : 帝王切開分娩見学の意義を検討して}, volume = {7}, year = {2008} }
