Analysis of this process might allow more concrete understanding of patients' problems and deepens nurses' understanding of patients. Nurses themselves also become aware of their unconscious actions and words to patients, and begin to understand concrete nursing problems. Therefore, we studied assistance action processes unconsciously performed by nurses to clarify the processes of the determination of assistance actions in scenes of daily life support for patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis (dialysis patients). Qualitative inductive descriptionsearch type content analysis was performed by the semi-structured interview method in 14 nurses working in the dialysis room. The category contents of the process of assistance actions were classified into 9 caregories: outline cognition, initial feeling, normal consciousness, cognition to a situation and a case, determination of an assistance intention, assistance action, assistance result,  feeling over action and reaction of a patient, and  shaking cognition.
