As a result, it has been shown that as much as 67% of healthcare personnel take various health foods. Among them, vitamin pills were the most popular, suggesting that healthcare personnel recognize easier them as health foods because of their tablet-shapes. In addition, they cited health foods effective for the prevention of cancer, dementia and allergic diseases as the most expecting ones. However, 59% of responders showed the lack of confidence for the effectiveness of health foods taken by themselves. These data suggest that comprehensive studies based on medical science are required in order to facilitate nutritive management in nursing and recommend health foods to the patient with science-based evidences., Article}, pages = {55--61}, title = {看護師・介護職員の健康食品に関する意識調査}, volume = {5}, year = {2004} }
