A sample consisted of 332 nurses was examined. The in struments used were Multidimensional ego identity scale , Self-preoccupation scale, Empathy consideration scale, Depression scale and Negative self-awareness in interpersonal relationships scale. The scores of depression showed negatively correlation with those of ego identity. The scores of negative self-awareness in interpersonal relationships showed partial correlation coefficient with significant to those of ego identity.
