 note = {application/pdf, 本報では, 母親の乳児集団健診への期待と, 母親としての自信, 子どもへの感情及び母親の属性要因との関係を明らかにすることを目的とした.対象は, 3・4か月児健診に訪れた母親683名であり, 健診に期待するもの4領域(成長発達の確認他の子どもを見ること, 悩みを相談できること, 他の母親との交流)に関係する要因を検討した.その結果, ほとんどの母親が何らかの期待を持って健診に参加していた.そして, いずれの期待にも第1子の母親であることが関与していた.また, 集団健診の特徴である「他の子どもを見ること」「他の母親との交流」には, 第1子の母親母乳育児という要因が関与していた.なお, 「成長発達の確認」, 「悩みを相談できること」を期待する人の, 母親としての自信が低く, 健診の場で母親としての自信を高めるような関わりが重要と考えられた., The present study clarified the relationship between the expectation of mothers to group examinations for infants and the self-esteem as a mother, emotional aspects toward infants and other motherly attributes. The questionnaires were obtained from 683 mothers who have visited the group examination clinic for infants three or four months old. Almost all mothers visited the clinic with some expectations. These expectations somehow but always related with the motherly status that the mother had a baby for the first time. The status and the factor of breast feeding related with two secondary purposes of the examination clinic, i.e., to compare the growth of own infant with that of other infants and to communicate with other mothers. The mothers who wanted to confirm the normal growth and development and those who wanted to discuss daily worries were low in scores of self-esteem.
