 note = {application/pdf, 富山医科薬科大学医学部看護学科早期体験実習(Early Exposure)1に対する学生の受けとめ方を知る目的で, 1995～1997年の3年間にわたり看護学科1年生計179名を対象にアンケート調査を行い, 回答率82.6%を得た.調査結果は以下のように要約できた.1)実習施設は3群(重症心身障害者・慢性疾患, 知的障害者・自閉症および老人関連施設群)に大別されたが, 学生の分布は1施設あたり3.6人と均等な分布であった.2)90%以上の学生がEarly Exposureの目的にかなった実習であり, それ故によい体験であったと受けとめていた.3)記載されていたコメントを併せて考慮すると, 早期体験実習は, 入学動機や今後の進路を考え直すのにょい機会になったものと考えられた.4)しかしながら, 実習先への交通手段, 実習前の施設や基本的な介護技術に関する情報提供の点で改善の余地のあることが指摘された.これらの結果から, 本実習は教育効果の面で充分機能しているものと考えられた., The first-year students in School of Nursing, Toyama Medical and Pharmaceutical University, have experienced a primary four-day practice, referred to as Early Exposure, at various facilities and hospitals during the first summer vacation. From 1995 to 1997,self-administrated questionnaires were sent to the students (a total of 179 students) to know their responses to Early Exposure, and 147 students (82.6%) responded to the questionnaires. The main findings are summarized as follows. 1) Although three kinds of facilities (hospitals for physically and mentally handcapped persons including chronic diseases, facilities for mentally handcapped persons including autism, and homes for the aged) were used for the practice, the students distributed to these facilities at almost equal proportion (3.6 students per facility). 2) More than 90% of students answered that this Early Exposure matched its purpose and thereby satisfied with the practice. 3) Taken together these positive responses with their comments, Early Exposure could be considered to provide an opportunity inducing a better insight into each motive for selection of nursing school and each future as a medical professional. 4) However, several issues underlyning onto the practice were pointed out in the transport means in both ways of the practice, and advanced information for the facilities and fundamental supporting-skills to improve the practice more meaningful.
