Although several medications had been administered for the symptoms, they were ineffective. Additional medications also proved to be unsatisfactory. Therefore, a Roux-operation was performed. The symptoms disappeared after operation and radiographic upper GI series and scintigraphy findings improved. Also the 75g OGTT showed that an elevation of serous serotonin had decreased after operation. No recurrence of the dumping syndrome has been observed 2-years postoperation.
