 note = {The necessity of inquiry is stated in the objectives of the Courses of Study for Science, which have been sequential implemented from elementary school beginning in 2020, and the implementation of inquiry is called for. In junior high schools, classes are being taught using new textbooks from the 2021 school year. In this study, teachers who have experience teaching science at junior high schools compared the features of each textbook and summarized the process of inquiry that teachers consider while using the textbooks.
