New\ngraduate nurses reached a “Phase of experiencing reality shock” when they were assigned to a ward, but\nat the same time they progressed in the “Phase of directly confronting socialization” by deepening their\ninvolvement with patients and having a sense of camaraderie on the ward, the starting point for which\nwas Relations in the workplace with the work itself, patients, and colleagues.
