The four days that recorded the remarkable high temperature in 2004 were chosen. The numerical model was applied, and the regional distribution and the change were reproduced with 1km interval grid. The result was as follows. The different patterns of temperature distribution appeared by the different air currents that(1)detoured the Hida mountain range, (2)went through the Hietsu valley, (3)went over and down the Hietsu mountainous region, and (4)went over the Kaetsu border hills, respectively. That is, (1)the easterly wind, when typhoon was approaching, brought high temperature, but didn\u0027t exceed the Hida mountain range directly;(2) the southerly wind brought the regional strong wind and the high temperature where the Jinzu River flowed into the Toyama plains;(3)when the southerly wind blew, the warm air accumulated inland was continually supplied and consequently Toyama city recorded a remarkable high temperature; (4)the southwesterly wind velocity was very high, and a remarkably warm area expanded to the Tonami plains from the Iouzen. The different wind directions by the change of synoptic scale atmosphere and the different scale-topographical features according to the change of the wind direction were due to these facts. That is, in Toyama Prefecture, the large-scale Hida mountain range influenced the east wind, the medium-scale Hietsu mountainous region influenced the south wind, and the small-scale Kaetsu border hills influenced the southwest wind.
